Overview

Fin is an AI Customer Agent company aiming to enhance customer experiences through advanced AI solutions. The position of Application Security Engineer offers the opportunity to contribute to securing innovative AI-powered customer service features.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and engineer tier-zero security capabilities for Fin's deployment and management.
• Design, build, and evolve customer-facing security features such as authentication, SAML/SSO, permissions systems, and malicious URL scanning.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure product development.
• Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security assessments.
• Build security tools and automation for scalable development solutions.
• Contribute to secure development standards and best practices.
• Lead application security initiatives and security incident response efforts.
• Partner with teams on AI-powered products to assess security risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in application security, product security, or security engineering within a SaaS environment.
• Strong software engineering skills with experience in production systems.
• Deep understanding of application security threats and secure software development practices.
• Experience in authentication, authorization, identity, or enterprise security capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in security incident response and leading investigations.
• Strong programming skills and experience in building developer-focused solutions.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with engineering teams.
