Overview

This program offers a significant opportunity for African innovators to develop scalable solutions in agriculture, energy, and industrial technology through the Food & Energy Sovereignty Challenge 2026, focusing on resilience and sustainability.

Eligibility

Applicants must be citizens of African Union Member States leading organizations that meet the following criteria:

• Company must be at least 51% African-owned
• Organization must be legally registered
• Innovation must have a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 6 or higher
• Solutions must align directly with either Food Sovereignty or Energy Sovereignty tracks
