🧩 Role Overview

The Assistant Head of Operations will support branch operations to ensure:

• Efficient service delivery
• Strong cash and risk management
• Excellent customer experience
• Smooth ATM and transaction operations

You’ll also act as a key support to the Head of Operations and step in when needed.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

🏦 Operations & Service Delivery

• Ensure compliance with service standards & SLAs
• Supervise frontline staff (tellers, operations team)
• Handle end-of-day reconciliation and reporting

💳 Cash & Transaction Management

• Manage vault, bulk cash, and till balances
• Monitor ATM uptime and reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with CBN regulations and internal controls

🤝 Customer Experience & Sales

• Drive customer satisfaction and feedback systems
• Cross-sell banking products
• Support migration to digital banking channels

📊 Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure accurate documentation and transaction processing
• Maintain regulatory compliance and audit readiness
• Prepare management and operational reports

🎓 Requirements

📘 Education

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
• Master’s in Banking/Accounting = advantage

💼 Experience

• Minimum 4–5 years in banking or financial services
• Strong background in banking operations
