    Global Fellows in Courage (GFiC) Fellowship 2026

    6-Month Global Accelerator for Human Rights & Gender Justice Leaders

    The Global Fellows in Courage (GFiC) Fellowship 2026 is now open for applications.

    This competitive 6-month virtual accelerator supports social entrepreneurs aged 25–35 who are advancing human rights advocacy and gender justice worldwide.

    The program equips emerging leaders with the knowledge, networks, coaching, and funding opportunities needed to drive bold and sustainable social change.

    Application Deadline: April 1, 2026
    Fellowship Duration: July – December 2026
    Format: Fully virtual (Zoom-based)

    Program Overview

    GFiC is designed to strengthen the effectiveness and global impact of early-stage human rights leaders through structured learning and high-level mentorship.

    Fellows gain access to:

    Concepts

    • A structured online curriculum
    • Two live 3-hour Zoom sessions per month
    • Practical skill-building and applied learning

    Cohort

    • A global peer community of 45 selected Fellows (2026 cohort)
    • Cross-border collaboration and shared learning

    Connections

    • Access to GFiC’s international network of experts and advisors
    • Strategic introductions to advance Fellows’ missions

    Coaching

    • Personalized mentorship from experienced coaches
    • Individual coaching sessions at least twice monthly
    • Group coaching support

    GFiC Grant Program

    • Fellows who successfully complete the program are eligible to compete for project grants
    • Grant Application Deadline: January 31, 2027

    Certificate

    • Official Certificate of Completion awarded by GFiC

    Candidate Profile

    The fellowship targets emerging leaders aged 25–35 (exceptions may apply) who have already demonstrated leadership and measurable impact.

    Ideal applicants:

    • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in:
      • Human rights advocacy
      • Activism
      • Community organizing
      • Social entrepreneurship
    • Demonstrate active engagement in gender justice or related fields
    • Show a strong track record of impact and growth potential
    • Possess strong English proficiency (mandatory)

    GFiC will select 45 Fellows for the 2026 cohort.

    Program Expectations & Time Commitment

    Participants must be able to manage their schedules and commit fully to program requirements. Failure to meet expectations may result in ineligibility for the grant program.

    Fellows are expected to:

    • Attend Live Sessions
      • Two 3-hour virtual sessions per month
    • Complete Pre-Work
      • Videos, readings, and short assignments
      • Approximately 4–6 hours per month
    • Develop a Project
      • Advance a human rights or gender justice initiative
      • Present a final project pitch during the closing session
    • Engage in Coaching
      • Attend group coaching sessions
      • Meet individually with assigned coach twice monthly

    Estimated Monthly Commitment: 10–12 hours

    Global Network & Community Impact

    Since its launch in 2024, GFiC has accelerated the work of 57 human rights leaders. The fellowship builds a powerful global network of advisors, alumni, and experts committed to advancing social justice initiatives.

    Through collaboration and peer support, Fellows strengthen their leadership capacity and expand their collective impact.

    Application Information

    Applicants must complete an online application form and upload their CV in one session. It is recommended that candidates review all application questions and prepare their resume before beginning the submission process.
