Overview

Young leaders are invited to apply for speaking opportunities at the 2026 ECOSOC Youth Forum, a key global platform for youth engagement in sustainable development and policy dialogue. The forum will discuss innovative solutions for the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, with opportunities for both funded and self-funded speakers.

Key Responsibilities

• Present youth-led solutions and initiatives related to the Sustainable Development Goals.
• Share research, innovations, and policy ideas.
• Contribute youth perspectives to global development discussions.
• Engage with policymakers, UN representatives, and global stakeholders.
• Deliver short presentations on personal experiences, innovative solutions, and insights related to sustainable development.

Requirements

Young people from around the world are encouraged to apply, especially those working on issues related to sustainable development. This includes youth activists, researchers, academics, entrepreneurs, innovators, civil society leaders, youth organization representatives, students, and early career professionals. Experience in climate action, innovation, urban development, energy, water management, and partnerships for development is particularly valued.
