    Overview

    Applications are now open for the Kwame Karikari Fact-checking and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Fellowship 2026, presented by DUBAWA and the Digital Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Disorder Analysis Centre (DAIDAC). This three-month intensive program offers cutting-edge training in fact-checking and open-source intelligence.

    Eligibility

    • Full-time journalists from Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, or The Gambia.
    • Fact-checkers or investigative journalists ready to enhance their skills.
    • Past fellows of the Kwame Karikari fellowship with an interest in OSINT investigations.
    • Exceptional writers passionate about truth.
    • Individuals eager to learn and grow in fact-checking.
    • Journalists committed to participating in fellowship activities.
    • Those with management support for publishing fact-checks.
    • Female journalists and journalists with disabilities (PWDs) are encouraged to apply.
    • Journalists with expertise in climate and conflict reporting are welcome.
