Global Rights Compliance (GRC) is recruiting for two remote positions: a BHR Partnerships and Development Officer and a Philanthropic Partnerships Consultant. These roles focus on strengthening GRC’s fundraising, partnerships, and philanthropic growth strategies within the human rights and international justice sector.
BHR Partnerships and Development Officer
Overview
The BHR Partnerships and Development Officer will strengthen GRC’s fundraising and partnership strategy, supporting the expansion of its Business and Human Rights portfolio by building strategic alliances and mobilizing financial resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional donors, foundations, and strategic partners.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities aligned with GRC’s Business and Human Rights initiatives.
- Draft grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
- Support long-term fundraising strategies and pipeline management.
- Coordinate with legal and programme teams to ensure alignment between funding proposals and technical priorities.
- Represent GRC in stakeholder meetings and partnership discussions.
- Track funding performance and maintain donor engagement systems.
Requirements
- An advanced degree in Law, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in partnerships, fundraising, or development roles.
- Strong knowledge of business and human rights frameworks.
- Excellent writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes.
Philanthropic Partnerships Consultant
Overview
The Philanthropic Partnerships Consultant will focus on strengthening GRC’s engagement with philanthropic donors, private foundations, and high-net-worth individuals to diversify funding streams and develop long-term philanthropic relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and prioritise potential philanthropic donors and foundations.
- Develop targeted engagement strategies for philanthropic partners.
- Draft persuasive funding proposals and partnership briefs.
- Advise on philanthropic positioning and donor messaging.
- Strengthen donor stewardship and relationship management.
- Contribute to long-term resource mobilisation planning.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in philanthropic fundraising or donor advisory roles.
- A proven track record of securing high-value foundation funding.
- Deep understanding of the international human rights and justice landscape.
- Exceptional proposal writing and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate strategically and independently in a remote environment.
