Overview
UNFPA Pacific seeks a Multimedia and Graphic Design Consultant to support its Communications and Visibility Plan by producing high-quality multimedia products. This is a part-time, remote consultancy for two months.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce professionally edited videos for advocacy, campaigns, reporting, and social media.
- Develop creative multimedia content for international days, public engagement, and regional campaigns.
- Create and manage photo galleries, photo essays, and video libraries.
- Design and lay out reports, publications, leaflets, factsheets, posters, banners, calendars, annual reports, and infographics.
- Enhance artwork, photos, charts, and other visual elements for clarity and impact.
- Ensure all materials adhere to UNFPA’s visual identity, branding, and accessibility standards.
- Provide innovative ideas for web-based, electronic, and animated presentations.
- Support the creation of materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee end-to-end multimedia production, ensuring high standards of design and technical accuracy.
- Manage colour profiles, print processes, and multimedia file formatting.
- Collaborate with the Communications Specialist and other staff to finalize multimedia products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in multimedia production, video editing, and graphic design.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and multimedia communication trends.
- Knowledge of printing processes, colour management, and production workflows.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Benefits
Payment is based on a daily fee, number of days worked, submission of end-of-month work report, and supervisor’s approval of satisfactory delivery.
