Overview
GAIN Nigeria is recruiting a Project Coordinator Gender Inclusion and Safeguarding to integrate gender equality, safeguarding, and social inclusion across programme design, implementation, and monitoring within agrifood value chains. The role ensures meaningful participation of young women, persons with disabilities, and internally displaced persons.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate gender inclusion and safeguarding across all programme components
- Develop and implement gender action plans, inclusion strategies, and safeguarding frameworks
- Conduct gender and inclusion analyses and translate findings into programme adjustments
- Ensure activities, budgets, and indicators are gender-responsive and inclusive
- Support gender-sensitive data collection, safeguarding risk assessment, and reporting tools
- Provide technical input into training and community outreach
- Coordinate safeguarding case management and referral mechanisms
- Train staff and partners on gender inclusion and safeguarding and monitor compliance
- Represent the programme in relevant coordination and donor forums
Requirements
- Strong experience in gender inclusion and safeguarding in development or humanitarian programmes
- Experience working with youth, women, persons with disabilities, or displaced populations
- Experience with donor-funded projects and compliance
- Strong facilitation, communication, and partnership skills
- High ethical standards and survivor-centred safeguarding practice

Salary: NGN 14,550,552 gross per annum
