This six-month internship offers practical, hands-on experience in communications within an international research organization working at the intersection of forests, climate, biodiversity, and sustainable landscapes.

    About CIFOR-ICRAF

Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and World Agroforestry (ICRAF) envision a more equitable world where trees across all landscapes—from drylands to humid tropics—enhance both the environment and human well-being.

These non-profit scientific institutions generate and apply evidence to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges, including energy insecurity, climate change, and biodiversity loss.

With a combined experience of more than 65 years of research, CIFOR and ICRAF have built extensive knowledge on forests and trees outside forests in agricultural landscapes (agroforestry).

Through multidisciplinary research, partnerships, and policy engagement, the organizations aim to improve livelihoods while protecting and restoring ecosystems.

Both institutions are members of the CGIAR, a global research partnership dedicated to reducing poverty, improving food and nutrition security, and sustainably managing natural resources.
