ALDA – the European Association for Local Democracy – has launched its 2026 Call for Proposals under the “Seeds of Democracy: Connecting People and Communities” initiative. This opportunity supports local organisations in developing projects that strengthen democracy, community engagement, and European values through participatory, inclusive, and citizen-led actions.
As part of ALDA’s Operating Grant under the CERV programme, the call will fund 12 projects, each receiving 15,000 EUR, with the grant covering 100% of eligible costs.
The deadline to apply is 1 April 2026 at 23:59 CET.
This call is open exclusively to legal, non-profit entities established in an EU Member State, and only ALDA members are eligible at the time of the grant contract signature.
