    Aflatoun International is now accepting applications for its Europe & Central Asia (ECA) Network Management Internship 2026 — a 6-month paid internship offering hands-on experience in partner engagement, training coordination, and strategic mapping.

    Internship Overview – ECA Network Management Intern

    Position: Europe & Central Asia (ECA) Network Management Intern
    Duration: 6 months (March – July 2026)
    Workload: 4–5 days per week
    Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands OR Remote
    Supervision: Regional Programme Manager – ECA
    Type: Paid Internship

    Internship Stipend & Benefits

    • €320 net/month (4 days/week)

    • €400 net/month (5 days/week)

    Key Responsibilities & Learning Areas

    1. Regional Programme & Partner Support

    • Support ongoing ECA regional activities

    • Engage partners via the Aflatoun Partner Platform

    • Research new education and development opportunities in Europe & Central Asia

    2. Training & Capacity-Building Support

    • Assist in planning Training of Trainers (ToT), workshops, webinars & consultations

    • Coordinate training logistics

    • Support online training delivery

    • Translate training materials and interpret live sessions (English ↔ Russian)

    3. Strategic Mapping & Partner Engagement

    • Map institutions and regional bodies working on social & financial education

    • Identify and assess potential partners in priority countries

    • Support engagement of strategic regional partners

    4. Project & Digital Support

    • Provide logistical and digital support for online trainings

    • Translate and proofread project materials

    Expected Outcomes

    • Successfully delivered virtual regional meetings

    • Smooth execution of online and in-person trainings

    • Completion of a strategic partner mapping framework

    • Strengthened ECA partner network engagement

    • Enhanced delivery of regional virtual trainings

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    1. Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related fields

    • Experience working with children or youth is an asset

    2. Language Requirements (ESSENTIAL)

    • Fluent English (written & spoken)

    • Fluent Russian (written & spoken)

    • Additional European or Central Asian languages = strong advantage

    3. Technical & Professional Skills

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    • Comfortable working in a small, multicultural team

    • Advanced digital skills are a plus

    • High level of professional integrity and confidentiality
