Overview
Catalyst Now is seeking dynamic and motivated Communications Interns to join its Communications and Shifting Narrative Team. This remote internship is ideal for individuals passionate about global issues, social innovation, and digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies.
- Manage and grow social media presence across multiple platforms.
- Develop engaging written and multimedia content for various channels.
- Support the organization of virtual and in-person events.
- Maintain and update website content.
- Track and analyze communication metrics.
- Support internal communication efforts.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital trends.
- Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing.
- Willingness to learn email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Keen interest in global issues and sustainable development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and multicultural environment.
