Role Overview

The Supervisor Electrical Engineering will take technical responsibility for electrical installations on international construction sites. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a high degree of mobility due to global project assignments.

The successful candidate will ensure that electrical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Site Supervision

• Take full technical responsibility for on-site electrical installations
• Coordinate and supervise partner company employees
• Interpret and apply electrical schematics accurately
• Support commissioning processes and user training

Project Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with clients, project managers, site management, suppliers, and third parties
• Ensure continuous technical and scheduling coordination
• Assist with construction site setup and preparation
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation

Safety & Quality Assurance

• Ensure strict compliance with occupational safety standards
• Conduct safety briefings and training sessions
• Monitor adherence to quality standards
• Oversee documentation and reporting processes

Candidate Profile

Waagner-Biro is seeking a highly organised and responsible professional with strong technical and leadership capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Completed training in electrical engineering (apprenticeship, technical school, or HTL)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical assembly, including foreman-level responsibility
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics confidently
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Valid Category B driving licence

• Additional language skills (advantageous)
• Strong MS Office proficiency
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 99% global assignments)
• Experience with mobile elevating work platforms (beneficial)
