Overview
International IDEA is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to oversee the Rule of Law, Access to Justice and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC II) Programme in Nigeria. This 5-year EU-funded program aims to enhance the criminal justice system, improve access to justice for vulnerable groups, and increase transparency and accountability of anti-corruption systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure successful implementation of the RoLAC programme within budget and timelines.
- Lead, manage, and provide strategic direction to the RoLAC programme team.
- Oversee programme planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners, including the EU and the Government of Nigeria.
- Represent the RoLAC II programme externally and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Manage programme risks and ensure adherence to EU and International IDEA regulations.
- Provide strategic line management and leadership to the programme team.
Requirements
- Post-graduate qualification in social science, political science, international law, international development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Rule of Law, Access to Justice, Anti-Corruption, programme management, and implementation.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience, including senior-level positions with supervision of international teams.
- Excellent understanding of programming, monitoring, and evaluation approaches.
- Experience in managing EU-funded programmes is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or any other AU language is an advantage.
Benefits
- Salary: EUR 7,258 NET per month + benefits.
- Contract: Fixed term appointment until 31 December 2027.
