The 14th TULIP International Summer School 2026 is now open for applications, offering a unique, fully funded academic experience in France for students and early-career researchers from around the world. This prestigious summer school focuses on “Biological interactions from genes to ecosystems” and brings together interdisciplinary perspectives across biology, ecology, and evolution.
Organized by LabEx TULIP, the program will run for 7 days, from June 27 to July 3, 2026, at the Centre de Montagne de Germ Louron, located in the scenic French Pyrenees.
This summer school is designed to foster high-level scientific exchange and collaboration in a fully immersive, English-speaking environment. Each year, only 24 participants are selected, ensuring close interaction with leading researchers and peers.
Participants will engage in:
Plenary lectures by supervising scientists
Interactive workshops focused on building interdisciplinary research project proposals
Scientific discussions spanning molecular biology to ecosystem-level interactions
Dedicated time to explore the Pyrenees and strengthen professional networks
Mornings are devoted to lectures, while afternoons focus on hands-on workshops. One full day is reserved for outdoor activities and informal exchanges.
The TULIP Summer School is fully funded, covering:
Accommodation for the entire duration
All meals during the program
Transportation from Toulouse to the summer school venue
Program activities and visits
There is no registration fee and no IELTS requirement. However, participants must cover their travel costs to and from Toulouse.
The application deadline is March 2, 2026. Incomplete applications will not be considered, and selected candidates will be notified by the end of March 2026.
