    AIUSA offers a variety of roles across different functions, including leadership, advocacy, legal, communications, and volunteer coordination. Below is an overview of the current opportunities.     1. Director, Organizational Data Analytics

    Type: Full-Time, Regular
    Location: Remote with travel
    Description:
    This role leads the development and implementation of data strategies to enhance AIUSA’s organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include analyzing organizational data, generating insights, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analytics, strong leadership skills, and experience working with large datasets.

    2. Director, Digital Fundraising & Advocacy

    Type: Full-Time, Regular
    Location: Remote with travel
    Description:
    This position drives AIUSA’s digital fundraising initiatives and advocacy campaigns. The successful candidate will develop innovative digital strategies to increase supporter engagement, optimize online giving channels, and amplify advocacy efforts. Experience in digital marketing, fundraising, and campaign management is essential.

    3. Indigenous Peoples Rights Fellow (1-Year Fixed Term)

    Type: Fixed-Term, 1 Year
    Location: Remote with travel
    Description:
    This fellowship supports AIUSA’s work advocating for Indigenous peoples’ rights globally. The fellow will assist in research, campaign planning, and policy advocacy. Prior experience working with Indigenous communities and a deep understanding of Indigenous rights issues are preferred.

    4. Director, Creative and Digital Communications

    Type: Full-Time, Regular
    Location: Remote with travel (preferably DMV/NYC area)
    Description:
    This role oversees the organization’s creative and digital communication strategies. Responsibilities include managing multimedia content, social media campaigns, and branding efforts to advance AIUSA’s mission. Creativity, leadership, and experience in digital communications are key.

    5. Specialist, Monthly Giving

    Type: Full-Time, Regular
    Location: Remote with travel
    Description:
    This position focuses on cultivating and retaining supporters who give on a monthly basis. The specialist will develop engagement strategies, analyze supporter data, and coordinate outreach campaigns. Strong communication skills and experience with donor management tools are required.

    6. General Counsel

    Type: Full-Time, Regular
    Location: Remote with travel
    Description:
    The General Counsel provides legal guidance on organizational issues, compliance, and human rights advocacy. The role involves managing legal risks, supporting policy development, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws.

    7. Manager, Employee Communications (2-Year Fixed Term)

    Type: Fixed-Term, 2 Years
    Location: Remote with travel
    Description:
    This position manages internal communications, promoting engagement and organizational culture. Responsibilities include crafting messages, managing internal channels, and supporting leadership communication efforts.

    8. Chief Human Rights Strategy Officer (Apply by 2-28-26)

    Type: Full-Time, Regular
    Location: DMV/NYC area preferred
    Description:
    The CHRO provides strategic leadership for AIUSA’s human rights programs, shaping global and domestic advocacy efforts. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in human rights strategy and leadership.

    9. Area Coordinator (Volunteer)

    Type: Volunteer
    Location: State/Region-based
    Description:
    Supports local outreach, awareness campaigns, and community engagement efforts. Ideal for individuals passionate about human rights advocacy and community organizing.

    10. Legislative Coordinator (Volunteer)

    Type: Volunteer
    Location: Priority states: AK, ME, NC, SC, TX, WV (others welcome)
    Description:
    Works on legislative advocacy, tracking policy developments, and mobilization efforts to influence human rights legislation at the state and federal levels.
