The NATO SHAPE Internship Programme 2027 offers a paid international internship opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain professional experience within a leading international organization. Based at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium, the program provides hands-on exposure to international cooperation, policy, communications, and technology while offering a monthly stipend.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare official documents
- Conduct research and analysis
- Attend and summarize meetings and conferences

- Assist technical or administrative teams

Requirements
- Citizens of a NATO member nation
- At least 21 years old at the time of application
- Strong English proficiency
- Completed a first university degree
- Current MA/MSc or PhD students, or recent graduates (within the last 18 months)
- Possible security clearance from national authorities
- Broad range of disciplines accepted, including: Policy and International Affairs, Business and Administration, Technology and Engineering, Communications and Media, Intelligence and Security, Library Sciences, and Languages.
