The World Heritage Young Professionals Forum 2026, hosted by the Republic of Korea, is seeking young professionals for an international initiative focused on "World Heritage, Communities and Education: Empowering Youth as Agents of Change." The forum aims to empower youth to actively participate in the conservation and management of natural and cultural World Heritage sites.
Open to young professionals with an interest in World Heritage, education, and community engagement. Applicants should demonstrate potential to contribute to youth-led initiatives, educational projects, and community-focused heritage management strategies.
This is a fully funded opportunity. Participants will gain knowledge in heritage management, community engagement, education, and policy-making. They will also have networking opportunities with international experts and peers, and become advocates for heritage protection.
