The AFRISE Challenge is an entrepreneurial initiative designed to empower young innovators across Africa by supporting scalable business ideas that address pressing societal challenges. The program aims to inspire high-potential youth and student entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into impactful ventures while contributing to economic growth and job creation.
Applicants must be young African entrepreneurs aged 18–35, based in eligible countries (Nigeria, Uganda, Morocco, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal), and demonstrate strong leadership potential with innovative, scalable ideas.
The program includes a four-week virtual accelerator with mentorship, training, and business strategy workshops for 30 selected founders. Top 15 entrepreneurs present at an International Virtual Demo Day to potential investors. Participating startups receive technology credits valued at over $600,000 from companies like AWS, Zoho, IBM, Microsoft, Canva, DigitalOcean, and Freshworks.
