European Science Foundation is seeking an experienced Mission Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and coordination of its Grant Evaluation operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Grant Evaluations Operations Manager in developing and coordinating evaluation procedures
- Standardise and harmonise evaluation processes and develop guidelines
- Provide training and technical support to staff involved in evaluations
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and liaise with Finance for budget management
- Develop and maintain databases, workflows, and procedures for evaluations
- Coordinate IT developments related to evaluation systems
- Support contract development, budgeting, and resource planning
- Supervise evaluation operations and oversee project delivery
- Act as the primary administrative contact for external partners and evaluation actors
- Ensure quality standards are met across all evaluation activities
Core Competencies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with over 5 years’ experience in an international environment, preferably in a scientific organisation
- Proven administrative and project management skills
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and web-based systems
- Knowledge of scientific project and staff management
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural setting
- Experience in grant evaluation processes and calls for tenders
- Financial and budgetary control knowledge
- Proactive, responsible, and innovative mindset
- Ability to work independently and mentor colleagues

- Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension)
