This combination of online coursework and in-person experience helps teachers integrate global best practices into local contexts and fosters professional networks that extend beyond the programme.
The programme begins with online study delivered over approximately 30 months. Participants engage with evidence-based teaching strategies, curriculum design, assessment tools, and emerging trends in English language teaching. The scalable online format allows teachers to stay connected with their schools while advancing their academic credentials.
Mid-way through the programme, participants will travel to the UK for a two-week immersive academic residency. During this period, they will interact with faculty, engage in workshops and seminars, and strengthen connections with international teacher leaders. This residency is an essential component of the learning experience and is fully supported by the scholarship.
Graduates of the programme become part of the British Council’s global alumni network, a community supporting ongoing professional learning and collaboration across borders.
