Overview
StrongMinds is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (ME&R) Assistant to support its Global Partnerships Department. This position provides operational and technical assistance to ensure high-quality monitoring, evaluation, and reporting across partner collaborations, contributing to evidence-based decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of M&E and reporting workplans, including data collection oversight, database management, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate with partners and the EPO on M&E activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Conduct data quality assurance and routine monitoring, including virtual file audits and safeguarding compliance checks.
- Assist in drafting reports, updating the Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT), and compiling results and lessons learned.
- Support the digitalization and data system management, including KoboToolbox and electronic data collection.
- Contribute to capacity building and learning initiatives for partners on M&E and reporting processes.
- Undertake additional monitoring and reporting support tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, Population Studies, or a related field.
- Additional training in Monitoring and Evaluation is an advantage.
- Experience with community-based or mental health programs is an added advantage.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience supporting monitoring, evaluation, or reporting activities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Canva.
- Proficiency in STATA.
- Familiarity with electronic data collection tools such as KoboToolbox and CommCare.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Experience contributing to report preparation and documentation.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural, partnership-driven settings.
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn under supervision.
