Overview

This fellowship offers science journalists worldwide an exceptional opportunity to gain global exposure and engage with leading mathematicians by attending the Abel Prize Week in Oslo, Norway from 25–28 May 2026.

Eligibility

Professional science journalist working full-time (staff or freelance).
Recent experience (within the last five years) in science journalism.
Preferably demonstrate coverage related to mathematics or fundamental science.
Ability to attend the full Abel Prize Week from 25–28 May 2026.
Work across print, digital, broadcast, podcasting, or multimedia platforms.
