Overview

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), in collaboration with the Government of North Rhine-Westphalia, invites applications for the Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) Hub Youth Event 2026, a fully funded climate opportunity for young leaders.

Eligibility

• Aged 18 to 35 at the time of the event
• Fluent in English (spoken)
• Available to attend the full in-person programme in Bonn
• Not participated in previous ACE Hub Youth Events
• Demonstrate knowledge or interest in climate empowerment areas
• Active involvement in climate-related work at the local or subnational level
• Preference for candidates from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented and marginalized communities

Benefits

The programme offers fully funded opportunities for selected participants, including travel arrangements and a Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA).

• At least 5 international youth (including Indigenous and local community representatives)
• 15 youth based in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany)

Self-funded or externally funded participants are also welcome to apply.
