The Africa IFI Grant 2026 provides up to £1,500 to fund projects that improve learning opportunities for children and young adults up to the age of 25. This grant aims to empower local community-based organizations across Africa to create a tangible impact in education.

Eligibility

To apply for the Africa IFI Grant, organizations must:

Operate within any African country.
Focus on projects that improve education for children or young adults up to age 25.
Have been operational for a minimum of 12 months.
Be community-based, showing strong local engagement.

Eligible participants include NGOs, educational nonprofits, and grassroots initiatives that align with Africa IFI’s mission.

How to Apply

The application process is straightforward:

Develop Your Project: Ensure alignment with Africa IFI’s goal to improve education for youth.
Submit Online: Applications open on 30 March 2026 via the Africa IFI website under “Apply Now.”
Deadline: Submit by 13 April 2026. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Notification: Successful recipients will be informed approximately 1–2 months after the closing date.

All recipients must provide a report within three months of project completion detailing outcomes and the use of funds.
