Organizations worldwide can apply for the Google.org Impact Challenge: AI for Government Innovation 2026, a global funding opportunity supporting projects that use artificial intelligence to improve public services and address real societal challenges.

Nonprofit organizations
Social enterprises (including for-profit companies with a strong social impact mission)
Academic and research institutions

Benefits

Funding of $1 million to $3 million or more per project
Funding can be used over up to 36 months
Access to the Google.org Accelerator, technical mentorship, and cloud resources
Up to $200,000 in Google Cloud credits (based on eligibility)
Access to advanced AI tools such as Vertex AI and Gemini
