    Overview

    This workshop offers a high-level training opportunity designed to enhance the skills of African researchers and academic faculty in evaluating social and economic policies, contributing to stronger evidence-based policymaking across Africa.

    Eligibility

    • Must be a national of an African country
    • Hold a PhD in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or a related field
    • Be a teaching faculty member at an African university and/or an early-career researcher
    • Have a record of publications in peer-reviewed outlets
    • Demonstrate strong quantitative skills, including knowledge of regression analysis
    • Be proficient in computer use and familiar with household survey data

    The course will be conducted in English, with French interpretation available to support wider participation.
