Alliance Française de Lagos is recruiting a Visa Agent (F/M) for the French Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply and monitor visa regulations; verify, examine, and decide on visa applications.
• Oversee service provider activities and participate in improving service quality.
• Train and supervise staff and temporary workers.
• Reception of French citizens and maintaining the Register of French people abroad.
• Issue French biometric and emergency passports; manage civil status registers, PACS, nationality files, school scholarships, elections, social affairs, and security plans including evacuation procedures.

Requirements

• Confirmed professional knowledge of consular professions of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE/IFAAC).
• Knowledge of a local language and familiarity with the region are advantageous.
