Overview

This program offers mid-career professionals the opportunity to undertake a fully funded year of professional development in the United States through the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program for the 2027–2028 academic year.

Eligibility

Malawian citizens or permanent residents eligible for a Malawian passport
Hold at least an undergraduate degree
At least five years of substantial professional experience in their field
Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to public service
Management or policy-related responsibilities
Interest in policy development within their sector
Limited or no previous study/work experience in the U.S.

Preference will be given to those who have not studied overseas in the past five years.
