The University of Glasgow has established the Sanctuary Scholarship to support students with refugee or asylum seeker status currently residing in the UK, providing a full tuition fee waiver and additional financial support.

Eligibility

• Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for full-time study at the University of Glasgow for 2026/27.
• Located in the UK with Home or RUK fee status.
• Meet immigration status criteria (asylum claim, refugee status, etc.).
• Alternatively, be in the UK through specific resettlement schemes.

Benefits

• Full tuition fee waiver for the duration of the programme.
• £5,000 per year stipend for living and study costs.
• Coverage for only full-time programmes.
• Partial tuition fee waiver for postgraduate taught Master’s students, in addition to the stipend.
