The ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management (AMSM) is a prestigious dual-degree program offered by Universitas Gadjah Mada in collaboration with the University of Agder, Norway, and supported by the ASEAN University Network (AUN). Funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Norway-ASEAN Regional Integration Programme (NARIP), this program aims to cultivate highly skilled professionals capable of leading sustainable economic development across ASEAN countries.
The program confers an M.B.A. in Sustainability Management alongside an M.Sc. from the University of Agder, Norway, providing a unique blend of business and sustainability-focused academic training.
Program Objective
The AMSM seeks to:
- Develop competent leaders for both government and private sectors.
- Equip candidates with tools to integrate environmental sustainability into economic development.
- Foster innovation and strategic thinking for regional sustainability challenges.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be nationals of ASEAN member countries.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (AUN member or associate member).
- Be 30 years or younger at the time of application.
Scholarship Details
Selected candidates receive a full scholarship, covering:
- Tuition Fee: Full exemption for the entire program duration.
- Living Expenses: Monthly stipend to cover accommodation and daily costs.
- Travel Support: Coverage for program-related travel, including a six-week stay in Norway.
- Miscellaneous Study Expenses: Includes laptop, books, and local travel costs.
