    Overview

    The Barbara Huber Scholarship Program is an academic funding initiative offered by the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law, designed to support outstanding researchers from international institutions engaged in innovative projects in Criminology, Public Law, or Criminal Law.

    Eligibility

    The scholarship is open to exceptional academics affiliated with foreign research institutions, including:

    • Doctoral candidates with advanced-stage research projects
    • Postdoctoral researchers engaged in independent academic work
    • Professors and experienced scholars with established research profiles

    Benefits

    The scholarship provides the following monthly financial support:

    • EUR 1,650 per month for doctoral candidates
    • EUR 2,700 per month for postdoctoral researchers
    • EUR 3,200 per month for professors and experienced academics

    Additional financial support may also be available for conference participation and research activities in Germany and other European countries.
