Young environmental changemakers from around the world are invited to apply for the Bow Seat True Blue Fellowship 2027, an exciting funding opportunity that empowers youth to address ocean conservation, waterways protection, and climate change through the power of the creative arts.
Organized by Bow Seat: Creative Action for Conservation in partnership with the Future Blue Youth Council, the fellowship provides grants of up to $2,500, mentorship, peer support, and leadership development to young people implementing innovative environmental projects in their local communities.
Applications are open until August 30, 2026 (11:59 PM Eastern Time).
The True Blue Fellowship recognizes that young people are leading innovative solutions to today’s environmental challenges. Through financial support, mentorship, and peer collaboration, the fellowship helps emerging youth leaders transform creative ideas into impactful community projects.
Rather than funding traditional conservation initiatives alone, the program places a strong emphasis on creative arts as a tool for environmental education, advocacy, storytelling, and community action.
Projects may focus on protecting oceans, rivers, lakes, wetlands, coastal ecosystems, or addressing climate change, provided they use artistic or creative approaches to engage communities.
Successful applicants become True Blue Fellows, joining a network of passionate youth leaders working to inspire environmental stewardship worldwide.
