Overview

This fellowship offers early-career postdoctoral researchers from eligible ODA-recipient countries an opportunity to spend ten months conducting advanced research at the University of Edinburgh, followed by up to two months in their home country for knowledge exchange and dissemination activities.

Eligibility

• Must be based in ODA-recipient countries where the British Council operates.
• Must hold a PhD, ideally completed within the last seven years.
• Must not have held a permanent university position or previously held an IASH fellowship.

Benefits

• £2,500 monthly bursary for 12 months.
