    About the Internship

    The Policy Administration and Communications Assistant Internship provides students with practical experience in international event coordination, policy administration, stakeholder engagement, and digital communications.

    Interns will support the delivery of high-level meetings and conferences held at the OECD headquarters and other international venues while also contributing to the organization’s communications strategy.

    The internship offers exposure to an international working environment involving senior policymakers, ambassadors, business leaders, and experts from around the world.

    Key Responsibilities

    Successful interns will assist with a wide range of administrative, event management, and communications activities.

    Administrative and Event Support

    Responsibilities include:

    • Supporting the planning and coordination of international conferences, meetings, and events.
    • Preparing meeting documents and administrative materials.
    • Maintaining membership databases and stakeholder contact information.
    • Ensuring the accuracy of organizational records.
    • Managing invitations and participant registrations.
    • Welcoming business leaders, ambassadors, and international delegates.
    • Coordinating with OECD conference services and catering teams.
    • Assisting with on-site event logistics and operational support.

    Communications Responsibilities

    Interns will also contribute to Business at OECD’s communications activities by:

    • Assisting with the design of event branding materials, including posters and graphics.
    • Supporting the preparation of publications and reports.
    • Creating content for digital communication platforms.
    • Assisting with social media activities across LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and the organization’s website.
    • Coordinating photography opportunities during OECD meetings and events.
    • Supporting broader communications projects across the organization.

    Eligibility Requirements

    Business at OECD is seeking motivated students with strong organizational and communication skills.

    Applicants should:

    • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme.
    • Study Business, Event Management, International Relations, Communications, or a related discipline.
    • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Possess strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
    • Be able to manage multiple tasks within an international environment.
    • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Knowledge of design and content creation tools such as:

    • Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Canva.
    • Adobe Express.
