📢 KAIZEN BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME FOR MSMEs (ADAMAWA, BORNO & YOBE)
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with generous funding support from the Government of Japan, is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to participate in a fully-funded Kaizen Business Analysis and Improvement Programme.
This initiative is designed to empower businesses in Yola (Adamawa State), Maiduguri (Borno State), and Damaturu (Yobe State) with practical tools to enhance productivity, improve quality, and increase profitability through structured and sustainable business improvement methods.
🔍
ABOUT THE KAIZEN APPROACH
Kaizen is a globally recognized Japanese business philosophy that focuses on continuous improvement through small, consistent, and low-cost changes. Rather than requiring heavy investments, Kaizen emphasizes optimizing existing processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and building a culture of gradual but impactful progress within organizations.
Through this programme, selected businesses will receive hands-on support from certified Kaizen consultants, who will work directly with them to identify operational gaps and co-create actionable solutions tailored to their business needs.
🎯
WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL GAIN
Participating enterprises will benefit from:
• Direct engagement with experienced Kaizen consultants
• Practical tools to improve workflow efficiency and productivity
• Strategies to enhance product and service quality
• Increased capacity to grow revenue and profitability
• Exposure to global best practices in business process improvement
• Opportunities for peer learning and networking
In addition, a few selected businesses will undergo on-site diagnostic visits, where consultants will assess operations in detail. The insights gathered from these case studies will then be used to design interactive training sessions for other participating businesses, ensuring shared learning and broader impact.
👥
