C# Senior Engineer - AI Interaction Evaluator @G2i

Overview

The role is for a Senior AI Interaction Evaluator at a contract basis, focused on assessing the quality of interactions with AI coding agents like OpenAI Codex and Claude Code. The candidate will not write production code but will evaluate AI responses to ensure they reflect strong engineering judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end-to-end.
• Judge the usefulness and correctness of outputs at a high level.
• Assess the quality of explanations and reasoning provided by the AI.
• Distinguish different levels of response quality.
• Provide clear and opinionated feedback.
• Help define standards for effective interactions with AI tools.

Requirements

• Staff or Principal-level engineer (or equivalent experience).
• Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows.
• Able to evaluate code without deep review.
• Comfortable giving direct feedback and maintaining high standards for engineering.

Benefits

Rate: $100–$200/hour, with approximately 10–20 hours per week. Duration is through early May, with the possibility of extension.
