The Youth Climate Justice Fund (YCJF) is hiring a Development Associate to support its growing fundraising and resource mobilization work. This is a full-time, remote role designed for early-career professionals who are passionate about climate justice, youth leadership, and equitable philanthropy.
YCJF supports youth-led socio-environmental and climate justice movements worldwide through participatory grantmaking and capacity strengthening. Since launching publicly in September 2023, the organization has committed over $4.5 million to more than 115 youth-led partners across 50+ countries.
YCJF is a values-driven, global organization committed to redistributing resources to youth-led movements. The team works fully remotely and prioritizes care, trust-based collaboration, learning, transparency, and wellbeing.
The organization is led largely by people from the Global South and Global Majority regions, with strong representation of women, gender-diverse people, Indigenous leaders, people of color, and people with disabilities. Working at YCJF means contributing to a mission-centered organization while growing professionally in an inclusive and supportive environment.
As Development Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting YCJF’s donor advising, fundraising, and grant management efforts. Working closely with the development team and collaborating across communications, finance, operations, and MEL teams, you will help ensure the fund’s financial sustainability and strong donor relationships.
