    Job Description

    Overview

    The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is seeking an Associate Programme Officer (Anti-Corruption) at the P-2 level to support the implementation of international anti-corruption initiatives based at the UNODC headquarters in Vienna, Austria.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the formulation, development, and implementation of anti-corruption programmes and projects.
    • Provide technical and administrative support throughout project implementation, including budget monitoring and reporting.
    • Assist in policy research, draft policy briefs, analytical papers, and technical documents related to corruption prevention and economic crime.
    • Support the development and delivery of anti-corruption training programs and workshops.
    • Provide administrative and substantive support to meetings related to the UN Convention against Corruption.
    • Liaise with stakeholders across the UN system, governments, and international organizations.
    • Contribute to the collection, analysis, and reporting of program data to support evidence-based planning and evaluation.

    Requirements

    • Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Criminology, Law, International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, or related fields. A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying professional experience may be accepted.
    • At least two years of relevant professional experience in crime prevention, criminal justice, corruption, or economic crime.
    • Experience in programme or project management, technical cooperation, organizing intergovernmental meetings, or working with international organizations is desirable.
    • English proficiency is required.
