The Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) is inviting applications for the position of Event Coordinator (Consultant) for the Asia Pacific Feminist Forum (APFF) 2027. This opportunity is open to women in all their diversities, particularly those from minority and marginalized communities across Asia and the Pacific, who possess strong experience in event coordination, feminist organizing, and human rights advocacy.
The consultancy provides a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the region’s most significant feminist gatherings, bringing together activists, scholars, advocates, and civil society leaders committed to advancing women’s human rights and Development Justice.
The selected consultant will collaborate closely with the APWLD Secretariat and its regional membership network to organize and deliver a transformative feminist forum that strengthens movement-building and regional solidarity.

Hosted in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the forum provides a collaborative space for feminists across Asia and the Pacific to share resources, develop strategies, and collectively challenge structural systems that perpetuate inequality, including economic injustice, climate crises, debt burdens, and human rights violations.
Through dialogue, workshops, and collective action, APFF aims to strengthen feminist movements and amplify advocacy for Development Justice and gender equality.
The Event Coordinator will play a central role in planning and implementing the Asia Pacific Feminist Forum 2027. The consultant will provide leadership in organizing the event while ensuring effective coordination across APWLD teams, partners, and stakeholders.
