This initiative offers an opportunity for African genomics research teams to engage in the GEN-IMPACT sub-studies, contributing to a five-year programme aimed at generating high-value African genomic data.

Eligibility

• African institutions, research organizations, population cohorts, or research consortia can apply.
• Human genomics researchers not currently members of APCC are encouraged to participate.
• Proposed research must meet specific collaboration requirements, including being embedded within an APCC cohort.

Benefits

Participants will contribute to expanding African genomic research, with priority given to proposals showing strong scientific potential, ethical practices, and sustainable capacity strengthening.

Expressions of Interest must be submitted through the Science for Africa Foundation’s Agaseke Grants Management System before the deadline.
