Overview

The 2026 Capacity-Building Programme for Women Energy Entrepreneurs, led by the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) in partnership with the SADC Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (SACREEE), empowers women across the Southern African region to lead in the transition to sustainable energy.

Eligibility

Identify as women
Hold nationality from a SADC member country
Own or run an energy-related business
Can commit to the programme’s time requirements

Benefits

Participants will enhance essential entrepreneurial skills and have access to experienced mentors and industry role models. While direct funding is not provided, the programme facilitates access to finance through matchmaking opportunities with potential investors.

Interested candidates must complete an online application form. Applications are open from 02 March to 03 April 2026. Submissions are required in English.
