    Overview

    This fellowship offers mid-career professionals a chance to gain hands-on experience in global climate policy, sustainability, and international negotiations.

    Eligibility

    • Master’s degree in environmental science, economics, engineering, development studies, or related field OR a first degree with 2 additional years of relevant experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in climate change or related areas.
    • Fluency in English (required); knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
    • Currently employed in a government or public institution.
    • A national of a Lusophone Small Island Developing State (SIDS) or Least Developed Country (LDC).
    • 40 years old or younger at the application deadline.
