Overview

This program offers the West Africa Regional Community Organizing Institute (COI) 2026, a premier leadership and capacity development program hosted by Yiaga Africa with support from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). Participants will mobilize citizens, build movements, and lead transformative change in their communities.

Eligibility

Citizens and residents of a West African country
No older than 30 years by August 2026
Mid-career practitioners in democracy, development, or rule of law
Holds leadership roles in civil society, media, political organizing, or advocacy
Strong professional achievements and commitment to community impact
Solid command of English or French
