The University of Huddersfield offers fully funded PhD research scholarships within the Department of Computer Science for an October 2026 start date. This opportunity is open to both UK and international applicants.

Eligibility

Open to domestic and international students
Applicants should ideally possess a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area; candidates with a First-Class Honours degree may also be considered
International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following:

IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no component below 6.0
Equivalent English language qualification
Proof of study completed in the UK within the previous two years
