The Young Leaders Program (YLP) at McKinsey & Company offers a two-year, full-time consulting opportunity designed to develop high-potential early-career talent into future business leaders. Participants gain hands-on experience in solving complex business challenges while building foundational consulting and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyse qualitative and quantitative data
Formulate and test hypotheses to address client challenges
Develop structured, evidence-based recommendations
Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
Support implementation of solutions alongside client teams

Requirements

Undergraduate or master’s degree with outstanding academic achievement
Less than one year of continuous professional work experience
Proven leadership through extracurricular activities or work experience
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

The primary location for this role is Nairobi, Kenya, with opportunities to work across other African offices.
