The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Summer 2026 Internship Program offers a prestigious, paid international internship opportunity in global policy, security studies, or international development.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting literature reviews and policy research
Producing reports, briefs, and analytical content
Supporting ongoing global research projects
Drafting social media content and newsletters
Assisting with publications and digital content
Managing communication platforms and websites
Organizing and supporting policy events and conferences
Writing summaries of discussions and events
Coordinating internal activities
Supporting program teams with day-to-day tasks

Requirements

Undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates
Strong academic record in relevant fields such as International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Global Development, and Technology Policy
Excellent research and analytical skills
Strong writing and communication abilities
Ability to work independently and in teams
Organizational and multitasking skills
Demonstrated interest in global affairs or policy
Prior research or office experience is an advantage
