    Job Description

Young women across Europe are invited to apply for the Young Women’s Advisory Group, a new initiative under the Playing for Purpose program by the adidas Foundation. The program aims to amplify the voices and experiences of young women to help shape initiatives that make sport and physical activity more inclusive and accessible.

This opportunity is open to women aged 18–29 living in Germany, France, and Spain, especially those with multicultural or migration backgrounds and an interest in sport, youth empowerment, and community engagement.

About the Young Women’s Advisory Group

Sport should be a welcoming space for everyone. However, many girls and young women—particularly those from multicultural backgrounds living in Europe—still face barriers to participation. To address this, the adidas Foundation is launching the Young Women’s Advisory Group to ensure that young women’s voices, ideas, and lived experiences inform the development of programs designed to support girls and young women in sport.

Members of the advisory group will serve in a consultative role, providing insights, recommendations, and feedback that help guide the foundation’s upcoming project aimed at improving access to sports and encouraging girls to stay active.

While the foundation will make the final decisions, the perspectives and input from advisory group members will play an important role in shaping project design, implementation, and evaluation.

    What Participation Involves

The advisory group is designed to be flexible and manageable alongside studies, work, and personal commitments.

    Participants can expect:

    • Online meetings and discussions

    • In-person workshops, including one event in Germany

    • Around two hours of commitment per month

    • Activities scheduled in advance with clearly defined expectations

Advisory group members will receive a fixed allowance in recognition of their time, expertise, and lived experiences. To ensure participation is accessible, the adidas Foundation will also cover travel, accommodation, and related costs for in-person meetings.
