Overview

The GROW (Global Research Opportunities for the South) programme, offered by the German Academic Exchange Service, aims to strengthen research capacity and partnerships across the Global South, targeting scholars from OECD DAC list countries primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

Eligibility

• Doctoral candidates
• Postdoctoral researchers
• University lecturers and professors
• Established academics and scientists

Applicants must be affiliated with a university or research institution in their home country. Those based in Germany or already pursuing research there are not eligible. The programme encourages applications from women and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
